Claudius George calls for new cricket administrators

Outspoken cricket commentator Claudius George says the current administration of the Grenada Cricket Association (GCA) has outlived its usefulness.

Mr. George, who was speaking on the Saturday Sports Special with Rawle Titus, said it's time to give local cricket a new mandate and appealed for the election of new officers.

We really need some genuine, proactive, capable administrators in G'da's cricket.

And the problem is not only in cricket but most of our national sporting associations. Because there are no proper club structure and everything is centred around teams just a captain as the maximum leader, then there is a hardly a chance of people developing good leadership qualities.
