No public listing for Gouyave Fish Friday, as yet!

The Gouyave Festival Committee will have to wait a bit longer for the popular Fish Friday to be legally recognised as a pubic festival.

GBN's Eugenie Mason reports that there was a first reading of a Public Festivals Regulations Amendment Act at Friday's sitting of the House of Representatives which was intended to include the Fish Friday among public festivals but the amendment was withdrawn before a second reading.
